Use this seat strategy tool as a pre-Join checklist for Cheating During Testing. Seats will not cheat for you, but bad seats multiply every mistake from Anxiety to snitches.

Seat priority ladder

1. Corner desk — fewest approach lines; best for learners.
2. Back table — strong vision of the teacher’s patrol.
3. Side mid — workable with good head-reading.
4. Front center — experts only; distance feels scary but head direction still rules.

Angle control questions

Ask yourself:

• How many doors or aisles can the teacher use to face me?
• Can a classmate block line of sight?
• Can I see the teacher’s head without a long turn?
• Am I next to a notorious snitch from last round? (Snitching)

If you answer poorly, move before the paper spawns.

During-exam seat habits

Face forward between peeks. Use pencil recovery from Anxiety and Hunger. Holster on any head turn — Avoid Getting Caught. Do not leave a corner to chase a “better” desk mid-test; walking is free Anxiety and free reports.

When the map feels different

BETA layouts can shift. If corners feel exposed after a patch, note it on your next Latest Updates read and adapt. Community clips sometimes show new desk arrangements — trust what you see in your client.

Map literacy drills

Spend thirty seconds after Join just looking at desk layout before sitting. Count corners. Notice broken sight lines from pillars or boards. That tiny ritual upgrades every later decision.

Accessibility seating

If camera motion makes you motion-sick, prioritize seats needing fewer peeks even if grades suffer slightly. Comfort sustains practice volume, and volume beats heroic discomfort.

Teaching seats to a squad

Assign corners to newest players. Veterans can afford side mids. Protect the learning accounts.

When the corner is taken

Take the opposite corner, then back row, then side aisle. If only front seats remain, play hyper-conservative phone windows and lean on entry free seconds from Ultimate Cheater. Leave and requeue if the lobby is snitch-heavy and seats are awful.
