Cheating During Testing Pencil Trick: Write, Then Peek

The in-game Player Guide cadence that keeps Anxiety off the stare lock.

Cheating During Testing Pencil Trick Guide

Players search pencil trick Cheating During Testing because the classroom fantasy is not only phones. The official Player Guide rhythm is simple: write for a few seconds, then peek. The pencil is how you pay Anxiety back after a glance. Without that repayment, the teacher eventually locks onto you and every safe window described in Avoid Getting Caught disappears.

What the pencil actually does

Anxiety rises when you look around the room. It falls when you face the board or desk and when you use the pencil. That is why a run that never writes feels cursed even if your seat is a corner from the Seat Strategy Tool. The teacher does not need to be close. At 100% Anxiety they stare, and stares delete timing.

Treat the pencil as a cooldown, not as flavor. After every phone burst from the Phone Trick, holster, face forward, and write. Do not chat. Do not hunt the teacher with a slow pan. Write until the meter is no longer climbing.

The write-peek loop

  1. Open the sheet facing forward so the first seconds do not spike the meter.
  2. Prefill A while still looking like a student who is working — that is still pencil time.
  3. Flick-check the teacher’s head. If they face you, keep writing.
  4. When they face away, take one photo or copy one phone block, then holster.
  5. Write again immediately. This is the trick. Peeking twice without writing is how 100% happens.
  6. Repeat until the paper is done or Hunger from Anxiety and Hunger forces a snack decision.

Why people skip it

The pencil looks slow. Credits look faster. A full lobby of 24 players makes everyone greedy. The class average sitting near 23% exists because most of the room never pays Anxiety back. A 4% Rookie Cheater paper on Assessment Rewards is usually a phone that never got a second burst because the first burst ended in a stare.

Writing is also cover. Classmates who snitch for about 20 Credits look for phones, not pencils. A student who is clearly writing is a worse report target than a student whose hands are empty and whose camera is spinning. Read Snitching if you are the one scanning for free money — do not confuse writing with cheating.

Pairing with camera settings

The loop dies if a peek takes a full second. Disable Shift Lock and raise sensitivity as in Getting Started and Controls. A flick that finds the head and returns to the sheet keeps the pencil phase short. Low sensitivity turns a peek into a pan, and a pan is Anxiety.

Mobile players should still write between peeks. Touch cameras overshoot. Shorter peeks plus longer pencil time beats trying to match mouse speed. See Mobile Guide for touch-specific habits.

Safe windows still need the pencil

Entry (~5 seconds) and punish (~3 seconds) windows from Ultimate Cheater and Safe Windows are for photos, not for living in the sheet. After those windows, write. Players who chain two punish windows without a pencil beat often hit the stare on the third attempt.

Pause Loading during a photo if the teacher starts to turn. Then write. The pencil is how you survive the awkward half-second after a cancelled scan.

Practice drill

Run one exam where you forbid a second peek until you have written. Grade does not matter. If you get caught, ask whether Anxiety was high, not whether the seat was bad. Next exam, add one all-A photo. Third exam, spend Credits only if catch rate dropped — Credits Planner.

The pencil trick is the cheapest upgrade in Cheating During Testing because it costs zero Shop Credits. Phones from Shop Items multiply a loop that already writes. They do not replace it.

Common fails

  • Photographing, then looking around instead of writing.
  • Holding the pencil animation while the phone is still out.
  • Writing while turned sideways so Anxiety never drops.
  • Skipping the pencil because a friend is calling answers in chat.

Face the desk. Write. Then cheat. That order is the whole page.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common classroom questions.

Does the pencil lower Anxiety in Cheating During Testing?

Yes. Facing forward or writing with the pencil brings the meter down. Let it hit 100% and the teacher stares.

Should I write before the first phone photo?

Prefill A while facing forward. That writing time is already the trick. Then peek. Full steps on Phone Trick.

Is the pencil slower than just scanning?

A stare is slower. Short write-peek cycles beat one long scan. See Avoid Getting Caught.

Does this work on mobile?

Yes. Touch peeks should be even shorter. Read Mobile Guide.
